As our IT Business Consultant you will be responsible for providing effective support for Kosan Gas applications to the business in the Nordic (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland), ensuring systems are available during core business operational hours. Supporting both the Kosan Gas business users and Project Managers in the delivery of major projects and application enhancements. Engagement with the business to identify and deliver system enhancements. Liaising with third party suppliers and partners to support the deployment of new systems and changes to existing ones.

Enhancement and modifications are done by an external partner, where your role will be the facilitator between the internal users and the external partner.

Your responsibilities will cover

• Provide application support for the AS/400 based ERP System that is in use within Kosan Gas.
• Liaising with third party suppliers and partners.
• Provide day to day support to the Kosan Gas business units, including the provision of BI support.
• Work closely with business units to clearly define and articulate project requirements and application changes.
• Create test and implementation plans to support ongoing developments.
• Adhere to all relevant Change Management procedures when working on IT system change requests.
• Liaise and work collaboratively with International technical teams within the UGI group across Europe and the US.

You will join the Region North IT Team and report to the IT Service Manager who is located in the UK. The main Office/main place is in Viby/Aarhus, with the possibility of hybrid working 2-3 days per week.

To match this position

You are an experienced IT Business Consultant, with a strong knowledge of AS400 from a role, where you have been the facilitator between the business and developers/Programmers, preferably from an international organization, communicating with stakeholders in English on a daily basis.

As a person you are responsible, self-motivated, proactive with a problem-solving approach. You are committed to your work, and cooperation, quality and customer support is your primary focus. You have interpersonal skills and are effective and structured in your work.
